Obituary

Steier, Azucena Azucena Yamid Steier was born July 20, 1971 to Fe and Antipas Yamid. She passed away on Friday August 15, 2008 after a coura- geous battle with AML Leukemia. Azucena's warmth, kindness and generosity of spirit endeared her to everyone she met. She is survived by her beloved and loving husband Donald Edward Steier, sister Avic Roe; brothers Alex, Braulio, Opong and Mandot Yamid, plus many Aunts, Uncles Cousins, nieces and nephews. A very special thanks to all of the wonderful and caring doctors, nurses and staff at Richland and UT Southwestern Hospitals with a special thanks to Dr. Thumala (Richland), Dr. Collins and Dr. Vusirikala (UT Southwestern) for their excellent care during Azucena's Illness. Viewing will be at the North Dallas Funeral Home, from 5:00 pm to 8:00pm Wednesday August, 20th, 2008. Mass will be on Thursday August 21, 2008, 10:00 am at St. Monica Catholic Church. 9933 Midway Road, Dallas, Texas 75220. Interment will take place in Hill Top Memorial Park 1810, North Perry, Carrollton, Texas, 75006. A lunch will follow in St. Monica's Hall. Donations may be made to the Leukemia, Lymphoma Society, 1311 Mamaroneck Avenue, Suite 31, White Plains, New York, 10605.
