Linda Marie Eidsvig, a devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt and grandmother, passed away at her home on Sept. 2, 2009. She was born Feb. 1, 1948, in Joplin, Mo. She is survived by her beloved husband of 40 years, John Eidsvig; her two children, Julie Tornblom and husband, Eric and Jeffrey Eidsvig and wife, Lauren; her two grandchildren, Nicklas Tornblom and Briana Eidsvig, who was born on Sept. 1, 2009; her two step grandchildren, Tyler and Thorin Tornblom; her sister, JoAnn Davis; and her brother, Jim Bastian and wife, Linda; along with many loved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Vivian Bastian. Linda was a longtime resident of Carrollton, Texas, and will be a forever friend to many. She was a dedicated member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Carrollton, where a memorial service will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 9, at 11 a.m. with a graveside service to follow at Hilltop Memorial Park. If desired, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Linda Marie Eidsvig at 8900 Carpenter Freeway, Dallas, TX 75247.
