*OBITUARY

Michael Alan Wilcox of Carrollton, TX passed away January 11, 2014. Born September 16, 1946 in Wichita, KS to Virgil and Beth Wilcox. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his sister Linda Gillespie (Wichita, KS) and his brothers Dwight Wilcox (Tell City, IN) and Gene Wilcox (Wichita, KS). He is also survived by his loving wife of twenty years, Vickie Wilcox; his children Samona Sigler and her spouse Brad (Carrollton, TX), Koyt Wilcox and his spouse Lisa (West Palm Beach, FL), Ty Wilcox and his fiance Amber (San Antonio, TX), Shelly Joplin and her spouse Kevin (Little Elm, TX), Farrah Burkhart and her partner Gail (Kaufman, TX), Hayley Frost and her spouse Terra (Oklahoma City), and nine grandchildren Ferrell, Jack, Breanna, Brady, Brock, Gareth, Kyle, Keith and Cooper. A Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 15th, 2014 at 10:00am, at First Baptist Church, 2400 N. Josey Ln, Carrollton, TX 75006. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, January 14th, 2014 between 6:00pm-8:00pm, at Metrocrest Funeral Home, 1810 North Perry Road, Carrollton, TX 75006. Please send flowers to the funeral home and donations to the Alzheimer's Association in memory of his mother, Beth Wilcox. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends.
