The remains of Howard Colwell, who was killed in Fort Worth, 11 October 1929 were returned to his home at Jermyn for burial.
Funeral conducted by Rev. J.W. Sampley. Survived by: widow; his parents - Mr. and Mrs. C.M. Colwell of Jermyn; 2 brothers, 2 sisters.
Fort Worth newspapers indicate his death as a result of a difficulty with a fellow employee, Arthur Lee Lane, 16 years old. Both men were employed by A. Brandt, owner of an upholstering plant at Fort Worth.
