Obituary
MOTHER CORSICANAN DIED IN CAMERON; BURIAL
Mrs. Elizabeth Bickett Burnett, age 86 years, died at her home in Cameron Tuesday afternoon, according to word received here by relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at Cameron Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock. The rites were conducted by Rev. W. R. Hall, pastor of the First Presbyterian church here. Burial was in Cameron.
Mrs. Burnett was a native of South Carolina, moving to Cameron 48 years ago and made her home there since that time.
Surviving are ten children, Dr. S. H. Burnett, Corsicana; John Burnett, Memphis, Texas; Greer Burnett, Corsicana; Brice, Willie, Theo and Weed Burnett, all of Cameron; T. N. Burnett, Beaumont; Mrs. Conn Moody, Cameron; Mrs. W. D. Bigbee, Cameron, a number of grandchildren and other relatives.
Dr. Burnett had gone to Cameron upon notice of her serious illness and was there at the time of her death.
