When Kenneth Ray Hobbs was born on October 25, 1934, in Vera, Texas, his father, John, was 23 and his mother, Lela, was 22. He married on June 21, 1963. He had two children during his marriage. He died on February 6, 1992, in Wichita Falls, Texas, at the age of 57, and was buried in Vernon, Texas.
