Funeral services for Donald “Don” Dagley, age 82 of Seminole, Texas will be held Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Westside Church of Christ with Minister Ray Young officiating and Minister Jim Michell assisting. Burial will follow at Gaines County Memorial Cemetery. Family visitation will be held Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at Boyer Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the New Mexico Children’s Christian Home, located at 1356 NM 236, Portales, New Mexico, 88130.

Mr. Dagley was born May 26, 1936 in Cleveland, Texas to Bonnie (Sheffield) and Jay Dagley. He married the love of his life, Connie Songer, in Odessa, Texas on March 26, 1958. Don worked as an insurance agent for forty-two years. He was a member of the Church of Christ; church was a very important part of his life. Don enjoyed golf and baseball, and coached the Babe Ruth league for twenty years. He also loved to tell a good story, and he adored his family.

Don Dagley passed away Sunday, July 8, 2018 at Seminole Memorial Hospital. He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother, and one sister. He is survived by his wife, Connie Dagley of Seminole, Texas; one son, D.A. Dagley and wife Nona of Seminole, Texas; two daughters, Candra Welch and husband Shane of Seminole, Texas and Claudia Donaldson of Seattle, Washington; his best friend, Fernando Chavez; six grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
