Amazing Father & Papa Joe

Joe Richard Puckett, an amazing father, grandfather, a uniquely self-made man, and native of Seminole, passed away peacefully on February 15, 2017. We gather for fellowship and remembrance from 6 to 8 p.m. on February 17, 2017 at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. Family and friends gathered to celebrate his life of 60 years on Saturday, February 18, 2017, at 10 a.m. at Lake Ridge Chapel with burial in the Gaines County Memorial Cemetery in Seminole. A tribute of Joe's life may be found at www.memorialdesigners.net, where you may leave memories and expressions of sympathy for his family.

Joe was born March 14, 1956, to Dorothy Robertson and Ulan Dale Puckett. Joe grew up ranching, motor crossing, and taking just about every risk a sane man could take. He was an avid skier, entrepreneur, and the best giver of free advice.

He is survived by his step-sister, Lesa Johnson;
Children Joshua and JeNea Puckett;
Step-child Courtney Lamb;
Grandchildren Emilie and Braydon Puckett;
And partner Debra Puckett.

Along with his parents, Joe was preceded in death by an infant twin brother, Robert Puckett.

Memorial contributions are welcome and may be made to Cal Farley's Boys Ranch, http://www.calfarley.org/boys/ranch/, in memory of Joe.
