Joe E. Bell of Simms, Texas passed away Thursday, August 17, 2017 in a local hospital surrounded by family and friends. Joe was born July 30, 1962. He was 55 years old.
Joe was an employee of Red River Army Depot for over 30 years. Mr. Bell is preceded in death by his mother Betty Bell and two sisters, Linda Bell of Simms and Mary Beck of Simms.
Mr. Bell is survived by his wife of 33 years Mary Mattock Bell, daughter Kelsie Bell Miller and son in law Shane Miller, two beloved grandchildren, Tagg and Kallie Miller. His father and step mother, Roy and Liz Bell of Simms, one brother and sister in law, Billy and Dana Bell of Louisiana and one sister Tonda McNeil of Simms and many many beloved extended family members and cherished friends. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, August 21, 2017 in the Bates Rolf Funeral Home Chapel, New Boston with Father Felix Okey and Rev. Grant Sutton officiating. Interment will be in Sand Hill Cemetery, Simms Texas
