Funeral services for Kenneth Braun, 78, of Seminole will be conducted on Monday, June 12, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. at Transformation Church with Pastors Tod and Daphne Delay officiating. Services are under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home.
He passed away peacefully at home on Thursday June 8, 2017, in Seminole.
Kenneth was born August 18, 1938, in Pittsburg to Frank Braun and Gladys Moorhead Braun. Kenneth and Judith Anne Sprayberry were married on April 30, 1960, at the South Seminole Baptist Church in Seminole, and had 57 happy years together. He had lived in Seminole since 1949 and was a member of the Transformation Church. Kenneth previously co-owned with his brother, George Braun, the Rainbow Paint & Supply for many years. He was a painting contractor for many years before becoming a general contractor (Braun Construction) and built many commercial and residences in Seminole. In his later life he was a mobile home dealer.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his father, mother, and brother.
Kenneth is survived by this wife, Judy, of the home and his daughter Twila Larkin and husband Michael and grandson, Drew Larkin and his fiancée, Iveth Lucero. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Jo McIntosh and her husband, Jim, his nephew, Wayne Braun, and his three nieces, Margaret Maloney, Carol Kulmayer, and Cheryl Penner, and numerous great-nephews and great-nieces as well as many friends, including the Jenkins' Families of Seminole and Burleson and the Carl Bennett Family of Seminole.
Visitation will be at Ratliff Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday evening.
