Funeral services for Mark Cain, 57, of Seminole will be conducted on Saturday, May 12 at 10 am in the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Joe Stewart officiating. Masonic graveside services will follow in the Gaines County Cemetery conducted by Gary Hamilton. Services are under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home of Seminole. Mark passed away on May 7 in Seminole.

Mark was born on March 16, 1961 in Gladewater to Buford Lee Cain and Novie Mae Ray Cain. He married Michelle Marzean on April 26, 1984 in Austin. Mark and his family moved to Seminole in September 1991 where he was employed with the Hess Corporation as a production supervisor for over 26 years. He was currently the Worshipful Master and a past Master of the Seminole Masonic Lodge #957. Mark was a member of the First Baptist Church and loved to hunt and fish. He was an outdoorsman in every sense of the word. Mark was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife Michelle of Seminole; one son, Zack Cain & wife Elizabeth of Seminole; one daughter, Brittney Cain of Austin; one brother, Larry Cain of Crane; three sisters, Jane Campbell & husband James of Midland, Beth Hamilton & husband Gary of Seminole, and Deborah Darby & husband Rex of Seminole; one grandson, Nolan “PERFECT” Cain of Seminole.

A visitation time for family and friends will be held Friday, May 11 from 6:00-7:30 pm at Ratliff Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Seminole Masonic Lodge #957 or to the Shriners Children’s Hospital.
