Taylor Edward
1905 - 1981
Taylor Edward Condit was born February 24, 1905, in Woodford, Oklahoma, to Catherine Elizabeth (Ross) and William Hayworth Condit.
Taylor Condit married Melva Mae Southern on August 16, 1926, underneath a black oak tree in Oklahoma. Taylor was a successful farmer and rancher.
He moved from Foster, Oklahoma to Seminole, Texas, in 1973, to be near his sons, Royce and Paul Condit.
Taylor Condit died March 30, 1981 after a lengthy illness. He is buried at Gaines County Cemetery in Seminole, Texas.
Children: Royce Edward Condit, Paul James Condit
Grandchildren:
(Royce) Randal Edward, William Alfred, and Nelda Pat.
(Paul) John Taylor, Paul James II, and Jeffrey Edward.
Melva Mae
1908 - 1996
Melva Mae (Southern) Condit was born July 29, 1908, in Boswell, Oklahoma, to Anna (Cannon) and Alfred W. Southern. Melva married Taylor Edward Condit underneath a black oak tree in Oklahoma on August 16, 1926.
Melva Mae Condit was a homemaker. She had a chicken farm and sold farm-fresh eggs to customers in Stephens County Oklahoma for more than 20 years. Mrs. Condit and her husband, Taylor, also had a successful farming and ranching business.
Melva moved to Seminole, Texas, in 1973 to be near her sons, Royce and Paul Condit.
Melva Condit died April 6, 1996, in Memorial HealthCare Center in Seminole after a lengthy illness. She is buried in Gaines County Cemetery.
Children: Royce Edward Condit and Paul James Condit
