Services for Norman Ray Tucek, 65, of Lubbock, formerly of Canyon, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Lubbock.

Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery in Canyon under the direction Brooks Funeral Directors of Canyon.

He died Friday, Jan. 25, 2002.
He was born March 31, 1936, in Canyon. He graduated from West Texas College and received a master's degree from Texas Tech in agricultural education. He worked at the Amarillo Health Department, Cal Farley's Boy's Ranch and Dekalb of Lubbock. He was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie.
Survivors include a son, Tommy of Lubbock; two daughters, Vickie Heppard and Vanessa Smallwood, both of Canyon; a stepson, Wes Underwood of Idalou; two stepdaughters, Kay McClure of Brownfield and Debbie Crump of Amarillo; five brothers, Glenn, Melvin, David, Robert and Clinton, all of Canyon; six sisters, Wilma Hollis of Amarillo, Gwynn Carmen and Pam Stevens, both of Lubbock, Lorretta Cox of Levelland, Diane Turner of Roundup, Mont., and Rhonda Stevens of Canyon; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to Holy Spirit Catholic Church, American Heart Association or Hospice of Lubbock.
