When Minnie E. Stephens was born on January 11, 1893, in Hot Springs, Arkansas, her father, Marion, was 21, and her mother, Willie, was 20. She had two sons and four daughters with Alvis Kennedy Lee between 1911 and 1924. She died on February 2, 1992, in Vernon, Texas, at the age of 99.

When Alvis Kennedy Lee was born on August 20, 1886, in Honey Grove, Texas, his father, William, was 30 and his mother, Elizabeth, was 29. He had two sons and four daughters with Minnie E. Stephens between 1911 and 1924. He died on May 2, 1962, in Vernon, Texas, at the age of 75.
