When Clois Raymond Cobb was born on January 17, 1920, in Vernon, Texas, his father, Harry, was 42 and his mother, Julia, was 39. He married Lillie Fluhman on September 16, 1941, in his hometown. He died on January 30, 1979, in Vernon, Texas, at the age of 59.
