When Willie Werner Schoppa was born on November 21, 1910, in La Grange, Texas, his father, August, was 36 and his mother, Louise, was 26. He had three children with Emma Frieda Goetze. He died on February 8, 1995, in Harrold, Texas, at the age of 84, and was buried in Vernon, Texas.
