When Freddie Alfred Anthony was born on June 7, 1947, in Vernon, Texas, his father, Jesse, was 39 and his mother, Lola, was 33. He married on April 17, 1966, in Wilbarger, Texas. He had three children during his marriage. He died on February 16, 2012, in Denton, Texas, at the age of 64, and was buried in his hometown.
