When Samuel William Davidson was born on March 10, 1875, in Lawrence, Arkansas, his father, Andrew, was 30 and his mother, Mary, was 23. He had 12 children with Maybelle F Kennedy. He died on February 25, 1958, in Vernon, Texas, at the age of 82, and was buried there.
