Funeral services for Geraldine Jones, 86, of Jasper, will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home in Jasper with burial to follow in North Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 15, from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home in Jasper.
Geraldine died April 13, 2014 at Christus Jasper Memorial Hospital. A native of Sabine County and lifelong resident of Jasper she loved hunting, fishing and spending time with JD and family. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church where she enjoyed her church work and loved to sing.
Survivors include two daughters Linda Bernhardt of Wichita, KS and Rachel Ross of Jasper; one son Joe Wiggins of Hemphill; sister Altie Faye Webb and husband James of Brookeland; eleven grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. She will be missed very much but the wonderful memories will last forever.
She was preceded in death by her parents Limmie and Fannie Williams, husband of 62 years, J.D. Jones, two brothers and one sister.
