Short

Services for Jim Short, 86, of Cameron were at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Marek - Burns - Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron with the Rev. Joel Thielapape and the Rev. Clyde Griffin officiating.
Burial was in Marlow Cemetery. Mr. Short died Sunday in a Cameron hospital.
He was born in Milam County and was a retired school bus driver. He also was a retired employee of the city of Cameron.
He was a member of the Marlow Baptist Church.
Survivors are his widow, Blanch Short of Cameron; two sons, Ronald Short of Kinston, N. C., and Wally Short of Memphis, TN.; two daughters, Aileen Doss of Lake Jackson and Betty Jo Ford of Beckville; two sisters, Bernice Short and Susie Leath, both of Calvert; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchildren.
