When Opal Dell Stracener was born on September 28, 1906, in Marietta, Texas, her father, Jessie, was 26, and her mother, Ollie, was 26. She had three children with John Garner Ensey. She then married William H. Moore on October 19, 1968, in Wilbarger, Texas. She died on February 19, 1996, in Bowie, Texas, at the age of 89, and was buried in Vernon, Texas.

When John Garner Ensey was born on March 16, 1897, in Parker, Texas, his father, Louis, was 35 and his mother, Annie, was 27. He had three children with Opal Dell Stracener. He died on September 2, 1967, in Vernon, Texas, at the age of 70, and was buried there.
