When William Theodore Buesing was born on November 18, 1913, in Lavaca, Texas, his father, William, was 22 and his mother, Julia, was 22. He married Erna Wilhelmine Backermann on June 13, 1941, in Guadalupe, Texas. They had two children during their marriage. He died on November 25, 1984, in Vernon, Texas, at the age of 71, and was buried there.
