When Willie Frank Tuttle was born on October 29, 1913, in Roxton, Texas, his father, Volney, was 26 and his mother, Addie, was 23. He married on January 12, 1940, in Frederick, Oklahoma. He had one child during his marriage. He died on September 13, 1975, in Vernon, Texas, at the age of 61, and was buried in Wilbarger, Texas.
