Pennington Cemetery
Trinity County
Texas

Just over the county line in Trinity County, one-half mile east of Pennington on FM 358, this cemetery is immediately behind the white cemetery, inside a fenced plot. The same entrance is used for both cemeteries. The earliest marked grave is that of Janie and James Horace, children of T. and K. Horace in 1889.

According to the survey by Mary Nelms, Margaret Muenker and Ella Frances Dodd for the 1978 edition of the Houston County Cemeteries, there were 64 marked graves and 46 unmarked graves.
