Whittington

Services for Riley H. Whittington, 78, of Clifton and formerly of Cameron were at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Marek - Burns - Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron with the Rev. J. E. Lafferty officiating.
Burial was in Marlow Cemetery near Cameron.
Mr. Whittington died Thursday in a Waco hospital.
Mr. Whittington was born in Milam County and was a retired farmer.
Survivors are his widow, Eva Bell Whittington of Clifton; three sons, Riley Whittington, Jr. of West Columbia, Mose Clayton Whittington of Houston and Irvin Ray Whittington of Brazoria; two daughters, Helen Whittington of Houston and Myrlene Roberts of Clifton; two brothers, Ollie Whittington of Cameron and Pete Whittington of Waco; three sisters, Gertrude Whittington of Cameron, Florence Rose Whittington of Houston and Effie Scarbrough of Galena Park; 13 grandchildren 18 great-grandchildren.
