When Jimmie Valentine Huff was born on February 22, 1912, his father, Arthur, was 27 and his mother, Noma, was 26. He married Lola May Upton on January 29, 1931, in Frederick, Oklahoma. They had two children during their marriage. He died on March 20, 2001, in Vernon, Texas, at the age of 89, and was buried there.
