When Roscoe Jaspar Jordan was born on July 25, 1885, in Texas, his father, William, was 28 and his mother, Mary, was 19. He married Emma "Jean" Lugenia Brock on October 29, 1905, in Henderson, Texas. They had three children during their marriage. He died on September 1, 1967, in Wichita Falls, Texas, at the age of 82.
