Precious Memories
Like leaves in the fall as they swoop to the ground, such a sad feeling, such a sad sound.
A likeness in the sound of the song in your heart
when you and your loved ones are drawn apart.
The color of the leaves so beautifully gold represents the value of the memories you hold.
The gusty cool wind that blows the leaves far apart
represents this point in time when you part.
The snow pure and white that covers the leaves is faith which covers your disappointments and grieves. Faith that through death eternal life has been sought thanking God you shared part of the happiness He brought. And though the wind blows you and your loved ones apart, you are a lifetime closer than you were at the start. Saying goodbye seems like losing the toss but never knowing
him would have been a much greater loss.
