Graveside services for Bobby Joe Gressett, 80, of Canadian were held Monday, May 20, 2019 at 3:00 P.M. in the Gaines County Cemetery at Seminole. Services were under the direction of Ratliff Funeral-Home of Seminole. He passed away Saturday, May 18 in Canadian.
Bobby was born June 14, 1938 in San Angelo to William Alvin and Inez Morgan Gressett. He married Connie Scott April 22, 1995 in Seminole. Bobby served in the United States Army from 1961 to 1963, he was co-owner of Seminole Ready Mix and was a truck driver for the company, and he also liked to hunt and fish. Bobby was preceded in death by his first wife Shirley Joan Gressett in May 1978, two brothers Dalton Gressett and Glen Gressett.
Bobby is survived by his wife Connie Gressett of Canadian; his daughter Cesali Ericson and husband Bob of Pampa; his son Bobby Joe Gressett, Jr. and wife Christie of Brownfield; stepdaughter Sheila Allan and husband Blaine; stepson Doug Smith and wife Lynda of Dallas; one brother Durwood Gressett of Seminole; one sister Barbara Phillips and husband Vernon of Roby; along with seven grandchildren.
