When William Earl Quick was born on July 10, 1891, in Vernon, Texas, his father, William, was 28 and his mother, Jane, was 17. He had one daughter with Addie Lady Spann-Quick in 1915. He died on January 4, 1959, in Wilbarger, Texas, at the age of 67, and was buried in his hometown.
