Miss Louise Alford, age 77 of Crockett, passed away December 31, 2008 at her residence. Miss Alford was born September 21, 1931 in Houston County and had lived in Crockett most of her lifetime. She was a graduate of Austonio High School and was a retired bookkeeper. Miss Alford was also a member of the Central Baptist Church.
Survivors include her sister Mary Mischer, of Houston; niece Paula Mischer, of Houston; nephews Walt Mischer and wife Leila, of Houston, Jerry Alford, of Midlothian, Gary Alford and Kerry Alford, both of Houston; numerous cousins and other relatives.
Preceded in death by her parents Edgar and Lizzie Alford; aunt and uncle Sudie and Dudley Hester; brother Gerald Alford and wife Margie and brother-in-law, Walter Mischer.
Funeral Services for Miss Louise Alford will be held Sunday, January 4, 2009 at 2:30 p.m. in the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel with the Rev. John Goss officiatin
