Graveside services for Zane Durwood "Woody" Gressett, age 83 of Seminole, Texas will be held Monday, July 1, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Gaines County Cemetery with Leo Copeland officiating. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home.
Mr. Gressett was born October 8, 1935 in Tom Green County to Ethel Inez (Morgan) and William Alvin Gressett. He married Ruby (Pendleton) Gressett in Seminole on August 12, 1955. He was part owner of Seminole Ready Mix Concrete with his brothers, Dalton and Bobby for over fifty years. He and Ruby traveled to forty-eight states and four Canadian provinces by motorcycle; he was an avid gun enthusiast as well as a licensed airplane pilot.
Durwood Gressett passed away Friday, June 28, 2019 at his home in Seminole. He is preceded in death by his wife Ruby Gressett in February 2019. He is survived by one son, Doug Gressett and wife Debra of Mineral Wells, Texas; one sister Barbara Phillips and husband Vernon of Roby, Texas; two grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

Graveside services for Ruby Gressett, age 80 of Seminole, Texas will be held Thursday, February 21, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at Gaines County Cemetery with Dean Boyer officiating. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home.
Mrs. Gressett was born in Covington, Texas May 31, 1938 to Mary (Dyer) and Mitch Pendleton. She married Durwood Gressett on August 12, 1955 in Seminole, Texas. She was a member of the Church of Christ and a homemaker. She enjoyed reading, traveling, going to Las Vegas, and watching the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers. Ruby loved her family dearly.
Ruby Gressett passed away Monday, February 18, 2019 at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, one son, one daughter and one brother. She is survived by her husband, Durwood Gressett of Seminole, Texas; one son, Doug Gressett and wife Debra of Mineral Wells, Texas; one brother, Larry Pendleton of Odessa, Texas; two grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
