Funeral services for Jacob Groening, age 33 of Seminole, Texas will be held Thursday, September 14, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Reinlander Mennonite Church with Henry Reimer officiating. Burial will follow at Gaines County Cemetery. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home.
Mr. Groening was born July 5, 1984 in Mexico to Senayda (Loewen) and Henry Groening. He married Anna Neufeld in Seminole, Texas March 4, 2007. He was a member of Reinlander Mennonite Church, and worked as a truck driver.
Jacob Groening passed away Sunday, September 10, 2017 at Covenant Hospital in Lubbock, Texas.
He is survived by his wife, Anna Groening of Seminole, Texas; his parents, Henry Groening and wife Senayda of Seminole, Texas; two brothers, Franz Groening and wife Margaret of Dalhart, Texas and Peter Groening and wife Sarah of Seminole, Texas; two sisters, Sarah Banman and husband John of Seminole, Texas and Getruda Groening of Seminole, Texas; and his paternal grandfather, Henry Groening of Mexico.
