Funeral services for David Knelsen, age 76 of Seminole, were held Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Old Colony Mennonite Church with Bishop Neil Fehr officiating. Burial followed at Gaines County Cemetery. All services were under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home.
Mr, Knelsen was born November 26, 1942 in Mexico to Margaret (Hamm) and Frank Knelsen. He married Aganetha Wieler in Mexico on June 21, 1964. He was a farmer and a member of the Old Colony Mennonite Church. David Knelsen was an honest and hard working man.
David Knelsen passed away at his home in Seminole on Saturday, October 12, 2019. He is preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, four sisters, and one son.
He is survived by his wife, Aganetha Knelsen of Seminole; two sons, David Knelsen and wife Anna of Seminole, and John Knelsen and wife Susan of Seminole; one brother, Diedrich Knelsen and wife Margaret of Mexico; one sister, Aganetha Friesen and husband Abe of Brownfield; twelve grandchildren, and twenty-eight great-grandchildren.
