Funeral services for Sara Wiebe, age 54 of Seminole were held Monday, June 10, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Old Colony Mennonite Church with Rev. Peter Janzen officiating. Burial followed at Gaines County Cemetery. All services were under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home.

Mrs. Wiebe was born in Mexico February 25, 1965 to Sara (Thiessen) and John Martens. She married Cornelius Wiebe in Mexico September 22, 1984. She was a member of the Old Colony Mennonite Church and was a homemaker.

Sara Wiebe passed away at University Medical Center in Lubbock June 7, 2019. She is preceded in death by her mother, and one brother.

She is survived by her husband Cornelius Wiebe of Seminole; six sons, Corny Wiebe and wife Tina of Paris, David Wiebe and wife Lena of Paris, John Wiebe and wife Lena of Canada, Peter Wiebe and wife Susie of Paris, Jacob Wiebe and wife Elma of Lamesa and Frank Wiebe and wife Nancy of Paris; two daughters, Tina Janzen and husband Peter of Seminole and Sara Lowen and husband Peter of Seminole; her father, John Martens of Mexico; four brothers, Henry Martens and wife Margareta of Mexico, John Martens and wife Maria of Seminole, George Martens and wife Maria of Mexico and David Martens and wife Tina of Canada; four sisters, Maria Friesen and husband Peter of Mexico, Aganetha Zacharise of Canada, Helena Weinz and husband Franz of Mexico, and Agatha Penner and husband Jacob of Mexico and 18 grandchildren.
