*Obituary
Ron Fisher of Mustang departed this world for his eternal home in heaven on March 1, 2015, in Lubbock, Texas. Ron was born May 23, 1965, in Seminole, Texas, to Jimmy and Betty Fisher. Ron graduated from Seminole (Texas) High School in 1983. He went on to graduate with a degree in theology from Christ for the Nations Institute in Dallas, Texas.

Ron’s family was such an important part of his life. He leaves behind a loving wife of 24 years, Deanna Moore Fisher, and four beautiful daughters, Ronna and Taylor of Oklahoma City and McKayla and Quinna of the home.

Ron had a heart for missions and traveled to Haiti where he witnessed to and served many children of the villages. After returning from Haiti he became youth pastor and pastor of many churches. Ron and Deanna pioneered Haven in the Hills Christian Fellowship in Boerne, Texas, and served from 1995-2006. After leaving Boerne, he and his family returned to Dallas to obtain a degree in family and children ministry. The family then moved to Mustang where Ron continued his education by receiving his LPN license. Ron held many positions in the medical field: Director of Nursing of Arbor House, Resident Director of Willowood Assisted Living (both in Mustang) and Resident Director of Legends Assisted Living in Oklahoma City. Currently, Ron served as Hospice Chaplain at Excell Home Care of Oklahoma City.

Ron spent his time here on earth serving God and making a difference in the lives of countless people. Ron would want us all to continue his legacy of service to others.
Ron is survived by his wife and four daughters of Mustang; father and mother of Seminole, Texas; sister, Rhonda and husband, Rustin Tabor of Slaton, Texas; sister, Riki and husband, Randy Jones of Seminole, Texas; father- and mother-in-law, David and Juanita Moore of Yukon; sister-in-law, Paughnee and husband, Matt Moore of Oklahoma City; six nieces, two nephews and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins whom he treasured so dearly.

A memorial celebration of Ron’s life was held in Seminole, Texas, on March 6.
