Funeral services for Dwain King, 66, of Seminole were conducted Friday May 5, 2017 at 11 a.m. in the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Charlie Johnson officiating assisted by B.J. Robinson. Interment followed in the Gaines County Cemetery with services under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home of Seminole. Dwain passed away Tuesday, May 2 in Lubbock.
Dwain was born November 19, 1950 in Seminole to Grady and Loraine Lawrence King. He was a lifelong resident of Seminole, a member of the First United Methodist Church, loved high school sports, and was employed in the building construction business. Dwain was preceded in death by a sister Patricia Walden.
Dwain is survived by:
Two sons: Brent King and his wife Julia of Ralls, and Duffy King of Anchorage, Alaska;
Daughter: Chesnea Becker and husband Kenneth of Burkburnett;
Four grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials may be made to West Texas Dialysis Center.
