When Louis Arthur Kieschnick was born on May 23, 1919, in Vernon, Texas, his father, Wilhelm, was 30 and his mother, Bertha, was 25. He had ten siblings. He died on December 5, 1977, in his hometown at the age of 58, and was buried there.
