When Roy Eldorado Stonesifer was born on October 2, 1902, in Plano, Texas, his father, Charles, was 30 and his mother, Charity, was 31. He married Anna Lee Towe on May 5, 1923, in Wilbarger, Texas. They had one child during their marriage. He died on January 11, 1967, in Vernon, Texas, at the age of 64, and was buried there.
