Funeral services for Diedrich Peters, age 74 of Seminole, Texas will be held Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Community Church with Pastor Dave Klassen officiating. Burial will follow at Gaines County Cemetery. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home.
Mr. Peters was born in Mexico August 5, 1943 to Anna (Thiessen) and Abe Peters. He married Anna Reimer in Mexico June 14, 1964. He was a member of Community Church and worked in construction. Diedrich was a hard working man and was good at woodworking. He loved the outdoors and loved to tell stories.
Diedrich Peters passed away Sunday, April 29, 2018 at his home in Seminole. He is preceded in death by his parents, three sons, one daughter, one brother, one sister, and one grandson. He is survived by his wife, Anna Peters of Seminole, Texas; two sons, Isaac Peters and wife Annie of Seminole, Texas and Isidro Peters and wife Sherry of Seminole, Texas; two daughters, Kathy Reimer and husband Jake of Seminole, Texas and Annie Wiebe and husband Pete of Seminole, Texas; one brother, Isaac Peters of Andrews, Texas; four sisters, Margaret Reimer of Seminole, Texas, Anna Wall and husband John of Mexico, Tina Martens and husband Pete of Mexico, and Agatha Wall of Seminole, Texas; 17 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
