Funeral services for Vicenta Ramos, age 93 of Wolfforth, Texas will be held Friday, May 14, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Seminole with John Roybal officiating and Rev. Julio Flores assisting. Burial will follow at Gaines County Cemetery. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home.
Mrs. Ramos was born April 5, 1928 in San Vicente, Texas to Maria (Celaya) and Fermin Salas, Sr. She married Pedro Ramos February 2, 1948 in Alpine, Texas. She was a member of Primera Iglesia Bautista in Seminole and taught Sunday school, attending mission trips during the summer to assist with the First Baptist Church. Vicenta was a very spiritual woman who loved the Lord with all her heart. She was a homemaker and a great cook; she also enjoyed gardening. She loved her family dearly.
Vicenta Ramos passed away Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at her home in Wolfforth. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Pedro Ramos in 2005; one son, four sisters, and one great-granddaughter. She is survived by three daughters, Rosa De Los Santos of Wolfforth, and Carmen Ramirez and husband George, and Nora Sendejo, both of Seminole; one brother, Fermin Salas, Jr. of Alpine, Texas; eight grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
