Funeral services for Avary Sawatzky, age 5 of Seminole, Texas will be held Sunday, October 29, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Sommerfeld Mennonite Church with Pastor Henry Martens officiating. Burial will follow at Gaines County Cemetery. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home.
Avary Sawatzky was born March 1, 2012 in Dallas, Texas to Neta (Teichroeb) and Herman Sawatzky. She loved being with her grandparents and playing with her dad, as well as taking baths. Every time her mother would say, “You’re my favorite Avary” she would giggle.
Avary passed away Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at Seminole Memorial Hospital. She is preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, two cousins, one aunt, and three uncles. She is survived by her parents, Herman and Neta Sawatzky of Seminole, Texas; one sister, Alayna Sawatzky of Seminole, Texas; her paternal grandmother, Elisabeth Sawatzky of Seminole, Texas; and her maternal grandparents, John and Maria Teichroeb of Seminole, Texas.
