Funeral services for Tina Unger, age 58, of Seminole were held Monday, September 25, 2017, at 1:00 PM at Community Church with Pastor Dave Klassen officiating. Burial followed at Gaines County Cemetery. All services were under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home.
Tina Unger was born March 10, 1959, in Mexico to Aganetha (Teichroeb) and Franz Wiebe. She married Peter Unger in Mexico on July 2, 1978 and was a member of Community Church. Tina loved working for Peerless Construction. Baking was her favorite activity, especially with her grandchildren. Tina was always happy and treated everyone like family; her children always came first and she loved her husband her dearly.
Mrs. Unger passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2017, at her home in Seminole. She is preceded in death by her parents and one son, Johnny, in 1988.
She is survived by her husband, Peter Unger, of Seminole; three sons Jacob Unger and wife Susie of Seminole, Frank Unger and wife Jennifer of Seminole, Henry Unger and wife Priscilla of Copeland; four daughters Lisa Martens and husband Jake of Seminole, Margie Klassen and husband Henry of Seminole, Judy Loepky and husband James of Copeland, Kansas, Annie Wall and husband Pete of Seminole; six brothers Peter Wiebe and wife Gertruda of Mexico, David Wiebe and wife Anna of Mexico, Franz Wiebe and wife Anna of Mexico, Johan Wiebe and Anna of Mexico, Jacob Wiebe and wife Ropita of Mexico, Cornelius Wiebe and wife Alejandrina of Seminole, Anna Banman of Mexico, Maria Teichroeb and husband Henry of Canada, Aganetha Teichroeb of Mexico, Lisa Wall and husband Abraham of Mexico, Margaretha Peters and husband Johan of Mexico, Helena Martens of Mexico, Agatha Dyck of Mexico, Gertruda Giesbrecht and husband Peter of Seminole, and 13 grandchildren.
