Funeral Mass for Juan Ramirez, Sr. age 89 of Seminole, Texas will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 28, 2022 at St. James Catholic Church with Father Jose De Dios Gonzalez officiating. Burial will follow at Gaines County Cemetery. Rosary will be held Friday, May 27, 2022 at St. James Catholic Church from 7 to 8 p.m. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home.

Mr. Ramirez was born March 30, 1933 in Ft. Stockton, Texas to Augustina (Olvera) and Crescencio Ramirez. He married Eva (Soto) in Seminole, Texas on March 31, 2008. He was a member of St. James Catholic Church and worked for the State of Texas Highway Department. In his spare time, Mr. Ramirez enjoyed working outside in his yard, taking long drives alone in his truck, spending time with his family and friends, and barbequing, he also enjoyed watching old western movies.

Juan Ramirez, Sr. passed away at his home Tuesday, May 24, 2022. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Maria Ramirez in 1994; his second wife, Eva Ramirez in 2018; one son, Samuel Ramirez in 2010; three brothers, Pascual Ramirez, Francisco Ramirez, and Rey Ramirez; two sisters, Petra Mejia, and Severa Hernandez; and one grandson, Samuel Ramirez.
