Funeral services for Anna Zacharias, age 49 of Farwell, Texas will be held Sunday, September 3, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at Sommerfeld Mennonite Church with Pastor Henry Martens officiating. Burial will follow at Gaines County Cemetery. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home of Seminole.
Mrs. Zacharias was born September 29, 1967 in Mexico to Anna (Klassen) and Gerhard Loeppky. She married Abe Zacharias in Muleshoe, Texas on October 7, 2000, and was a member of the Sommerfeld Mennonite Church and a homemaker. Anna loved gardening and was very active in family events; she also liked playing the harmonica and accordion. Anna was very giving and loved children.
Anna Zacharias passed away Thursday, August 31, 2017 at her home in Farwell, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Herman Neudorf in 1994; one brother and one sister. She is survived by her husband, Abe Zacharias of Farwell, Texas; two stepsons, Johan Neudorf and wife Elizabeth of Graham, Texas and Jacob Neudorf and wife Sarah of Graham, Texas; one daughter, Lisa Zacharias of Farwell, Texas; one brother, Gerhard Loeppky and wife Margaret of Farwell, Texas; three sisters, Margaret Enns and husband John of Seminole, Texas, Mary Friesen and husband Franz of Clay's Corner, Texas, and Tina Neudorf and husband Herman of Mexico; and one grandchild.
