MORRIS, IRENE BOOZER
December 10, 1904 - March 29, 1983
Irene Morris, 78 of Omaha, died Tuesday of last week in a Texarkana hospital. Services were at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 31 at Concord Baptist Church, with the Rev. Glenn Griffith and the Rev. Rodney Richey officiating. Burial was in the Concord Cemetery under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service of Naples. Mrs. Morris was born December 10, 1904. She was a retired employee of Red River Army Depot, a member of the Concord Baptist Church and a lifetime resident of Omaha. Survivors include one son, Billy Morris of New Boston; one brother and sister-in-law, Allen and Ovie (Belyeu) Boozer of Omaha; two sisters, Fronie Boozer of Omaha and Maggie Lee Branch of Longview; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. “Funeral services held Wednesday for Burrell Morris”
Burrell Morris, of Omaha, a lifelong resident of Morris County, died at the hospital here Tuesday after a long illness. He is survived by his wife; one son, Billy Morris of Lone Star; four brothers, Luther Morris, L. A Morris and A. F. Morris, all of Omaha, and O. M. Morris of Cookville; four sisters, Mrs. M. L. Green of Dallas, Mrs. J. B. Poole of Plano, Mrs. J. P. Fields of Tyler, and Mrs. C. S. Stevens of Mt. Pleasant; three grand children and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Concord Baptist Church will the Rev. A. J. Finley and the Rev. James Wommack officiating. Burial was in the Concord Cemetery under the direction of the Hanner Funeral Home.
