Wright, William Tolbert “Billy Tob” November 30, 1929 – July 15, 2017
William Tolbert “Billy Tob” Wright, age 87, of Omaha, Texas, passed away Saturday, July 15, 2017 in Mt. Pleasant, Texas. Billy Tob was born November 30, 1929 in Omaha, Texas to Raymond and Emma Johnson Wright. Billy Tob was a United States Air Force veteran. He retired from the Texas Department of Transportation where he was an engineer. He was also a rancher. He enjoyed tending to his animals and riding and breaking horses. Billy Tob was preceded in death by his wife, Fay Wright, in 2016; his parents; three brothers, Bentley Wright, Marshall Wright, and Leslie Wright; and one sister Mary Walker. Surviving family members include one daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Henry Moles of Omaha, Texas; special caretakers, Tammy Alexander, Jennifer Whatley, Emmalee Whatley, and LaVerne Evans; numerous nephews and one niece. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at Concord Cemetery in Omaha with Rev. Nolan Richey officiating. His body will lie in state at the funeral home from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 18, 2017. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cypress Basin Hospice or your local Alzheimer’s Association.

Clara Fay Wright, age 89, of Omaha, Texas, passed away Friday, December 16, 2016 at her home. Fay was born August 2, 1927 in Alabama to Thomas Jefferson Gault and Jessie Mae Blanton Gault. Fay held numerous jobs over the year, but she was most known for being a homemaker. She loved to cook, sew, garden, and can vegetables. She also enjoyed hosting guests. Fay was preceded in death by her parents, Jeff Gault and Jessie Mae Sprouse; two brothers, J.T. Gault and Leon Gault; and one sister, Edree McNeese. Survivors include her husband Billy Tob Wright of Omaha; one daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Henry Moles of Omaha; one brother, Ralph Gault of Reform, Alabama; her loving caregiver, Jennifer Whatley; special friends, Emmalee Whatley, Tammy Alexander, and Laverne Evans; and numerous nieces and nephews in Alabama. Fay’s body will lie in state at the funeral home from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday, December 19, 2016. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at Concord Cemetery in Omaha with Jesse Wright officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to your local Alzheimer’s Association. (SS B, Row 2, Lot 10)
