Funeral services for Peter Neustaeter, Sr., age 68 of Seminole, Texas will be held Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at Reinlander Mennonite Church beginning at 1:00 p.m., with Peter Peters officiating. Burial will follow at Gaines County Cemetery. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home of Seminole.

Peter Neustaeter was born March 22, 1947 in Mexico to Margareta (Klassen) and Heinrich Neustaeter. He married Elizabeth Friesen in Mexico on June 25, 1967, and they moved to Seminole in 1977. He worked as a farmer, and the owner of E P Fabrics in Seminole. He served the church as a deacon. He was a loving, kindhearted person who never had a cross word to say about anyone. He was a sincere and devoted friend, always honest and helpful, and could be counted on for wise counsel. He taught his children the importance of loving others.

Peter Neustaeter, Sr. passed away on October 31, 2015 at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, two brothers, and two sisters. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Neustaeter of Seminole, Texas; two sons, George Neustaeter and wife Tina of Seminole, Texas and Peter Neustaeter, Jr. and wife Helena of Seminole, Texas; four brothers, Jacob Neustaeter of Bolivia, Heinrich Neustaeter and wife Anna of Canada, Franz Neustaeter and wife Susana of Bolivia, and Abraham Neustaeter and wife Katarina of Canada; two sisters, Margareta Dyck and husband Benjamin of Paraguay and Katarina Friesen of Bolivia; two sisters-in-law, Maria Neustaeter of Canada and Katarina Neustaeter of Bolivia; nine grandchildren, one grandson-in-law, and one granddaughter-in-law.
