When Gregory Komninos Zelios was born on July 18, 1927, in Dallas, Texas, his father, Jesse, was 35 and his mother, Ourania, was 23. He had two children with Billie Poulos. He died on June 26, 1997, at the age of 69, and was buried in Vernon, Texas.
