When Georgia Viola Hardeman was born on October 4, 1900, in Oklahoma, her father, John, was 36, and her mother, Louise, was 27. She married John Carl Lynn (1895–1928) and they had two children together. She then married Aubrey Gordon Edwards on December 25, 1942, in Taylor, Texas. She died on March 31, 1989, in Vernon, Texas, at the age of 88.
